The development trend of robots

Release time: 2025-07-17

For warehouse robot enterprises, the significance of automation upgrade is not merely about reducing labor costs. Automation is the core foundation for the transformation and upgrading of enterprises, which can force the overall manufacturing standardization and the supporting level of the supply chain. Therefore, for domestic manufacturing enterprises to completely get out of the predicament and embark on the path of transformation and upgrading, there is no other choice but to accelerate the development process of automation.

The transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry focuses on systematically promoting automation and lean manufacturing. Through automation upgrades, our efficiency can be enhanced, enabling us to produce newer, better and more products. This can also drive the overall manufacturing standardization and templating, thereby compelling the production transformation of the supply chain. It can be said that an automated production line can drive the upgrading of production standards throughout the entire industrial chain. Factories that are engaged in automation are everywhere. The factory automation upgrades of major domestic home appliance giants are also in full swing. In the 3C field, various companies have also been accelerating the process of automation transformation. The replacement of human workers with machines is being carried out in labor-intensive industries such as electronics, machinery and food.

It was revealed that in 2016, the output of industrial robots in Guangdong Province increased by 45.2%, with 22,000 new applications added, bringing the total to over 60,000 units and accounting for approximately one fifth of the national total. A relevant official from the Economic and Information Technology Commission of Guangdong Province stated that in 2017, Guangdong will complete 100 intelligent transformation projects, cultivate over 20 provincial-level intelligent manufacturing backbone (cultivation) enterprises, foster 15 robot backbone enterprises, build 4 robot industrial bases, and strive to achieve a robot manufacturing output value of 60 billion yuan. About 20,000 new robots were put into use throughout the year.

At the end of December last year, the Economic and Information Technology Bureau of Dongguan City also announced that since the application for the "machine replacement" special fund was launched in September 2014, up to October last year, Dongguan had applied for a total of 1,485 "machine replacement" special fund projects, adding approximately 48,000 sets of new equipment and instruments. All indicators ranked first in Guangdong Province. After the completion of this "machine replacing human" application project, approximately 87,000 workers can be reduced.

While the automation upgrade of the manufacturing industry has liberated some employees from repetitive labor, the shortage of "technical" workers across society has become increasingly prominent. The transformation and upgrading of China's manufacturing industry has also led to a growing demand for professional talents from enterprises.
